Stuffed animals?

Our female sheltiemix loves her stuffed animals better than rubber or plastic toys. However, she tears the stuffing out of them in no time. My question is: is there a stuffed animal (no sqeeky) that I can get her that she cant tear apart so easily??

  1. You can make your own very cheaply and easily....Cut an old pair of jeans off into really short shorts and get old clothes an stuff them inside then sew up either with a machine or with an embroidery needle and yarn.....You could take your homemade toy to the tailor at the mall and have them stitch it up...it would take them 2mins....you will have hours of fun for your dog....
  2. I have a Weim that thinks he was put on this Earth to unstuff things. I stay away from stuffy toys now...
  3. I know exactly what you mean because our shih tzu likes stuffed animal type toys and we've gone through a lot of cheap ones that's she's destroyed!!! I recently purchased a toy by GoDog at Petsmart that is chew-proof (they have squeekers in them.. at least the ones I've purchased). It is guaranteed not to rip or tear and if your dog does rip or tear it (or destroy it), you can return it to the company and get a new toy. I've gotten her several and these seem to last longer than any stuff-typed toy I've bought. She's only managed to get the ear off of one toy and that's being boxed up and mailed back to the company for a new toy. I like the fact that they stand behind their toys and the company told me they like for you to send back the toy so they can examine it and figure out how to make their products even better.
  4. There's this awesome product by Tuffy's. Cool stuffed toys that are extremely durable.
  5. Our boxers do the same thing...I have never seen one that they can't tear up but you never know anymore...
