Should I wash my dogs plush toys before I give it to them or are they safe?
I bought them from the dollar store so no dogs have came in contact with them.

- you should wash. just to be safe. if you bought it at a store, others could have touched it. and it might get diseases from the filthyness.
- If you are bringing them home straight from the store you bought them from, they are just fine. My puppy has several plush toys, and I never wash them unless they get really nasty.
- I usually don't wash things for my dogs unless they came from a really grotty looking market stall and I don't know where it might have been. Something from the petshop is probably fine - in two minutes it's going to be dirtier than it was when you bought it!
- I think it should be fine. I never washed my dog's stuffed animals (and he's been through tons, he looves to destroy his babies) and he's okay.
- I've never washed any plush toys that I have given my dogs. Good quality dog toys are made with non toxic, dog safe material. Like someone else has said, they become dirty very quickly anyway.
- Wash them because most pet stores allow dogs to come in and other dogs could have put their mouths on the toys. Wash to make sure.
