Where I can find a suitable taxidermist for my cat?
My cat is getting old and I love her to bits, so i have decided to have the pet stuffed. Is it better to put down my cat then have a taxidermist do the procedure or just wait for the cat to naturally die. My issue is if the cats dies outdoors there might be a time lag to get the procedure completed without loss of quality. Shall I have her put down?

- wait for the poor thing to die.
- If you love your cat that much why on earth do you want to get her put down ?!
- I smell trollism.
- Hi, a few links for you to contact for the best advice.
- The only time an animal should be put down, is when they are in constant pain and/or sick beyond medical relief. As for the taxidermist, check to phone book. and check with many shops as possible. You might also check with the vet, as there are other people who feel the same way about their pets too.
- My cat got put down because it was ill, don't get your cat put down! if you love it you would want it to live as long as it could. if your cat is not going to die, dont kill it!
- I was upset when I had to put my cat down but I had to, He was deaf, going blind, kidneys were about to fail, he yowled in pain all day (it was a really bad sickness), and ate a lot but was never able to go to the bathroom. Don't put a cat down unless its seriously sick like in my cats case.
- Are you for real?? O.o
- Don't have her put down. I thought you loved her? Surely you wouldn't want to shorten your days with it just so that you could have a nice dead cat to look at. Wouldn't you rather have a live cat than a dead cat? You don't love her at all!
